THE WHAT
As a Development Engineer at Blackwave, you develop and industrialize manufacturing processes for advanced composite and metal technologies used in our lightweight, high-performance COPVs.
You drive the transition from prototype to serial production and work closely with components, materials, winding processes, fixtures, and molding tools to ensure our technologies are reliable, efficient, and flight-ready.

- Advanced composite and metal components are developed with a focus on lightweight solutions
- Manufacturing processes are scaled and optimized for reliable serial production
- The team has a strong technical point of contact for process and material topics
Your tasks in detail and by priority
Develop and build the future: Work on the development and production of advanced composite products from prototype to full-scale manufacturing.

Engineer for lightness: Design components and production processes using composite and metal technologies with a focus on lightweight construction.
