Keep our production running.

You make sure our machinery runs reliably, stably, and without unnecessary downtime. As we build and scale new equipment, you ensure that our machines are operational, properly maintained, and that issues are resolved quickly.

  • Critical machines and systems remain operational
  • Weaknesses are identified early and downtime is prevented
  • Issues are resolved quickly and sustainably
  • Maintenance and changes are properly documented

Your tasks in detail

Maintain critical systems: Perform regular maintenance and ensure the operational readiness of our machinery.

Own machine reliability: Identify weaknesses early and prevent failures before they occur.

Support new equipment: Support the selection, installation, and integration of new machines.

Fix issues hands-on: Analyze failures systematically and solve them pragmatically on site.

Build structure: Document maintenance and changes and help establish standards for our growing machine park.

Work across boundaries: Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and external service providers.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Training as a mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, electronics technician, or comparable qualification
  • Experience maintaining machinery and equipment in an industrial environment
  • Structured working style, solid documentation skills, and a root-cause mindset
  • You take action, stay organized, and communicate confidently with internal teams and external service providers
  • Experience with milling, turning, presses, robots, or HVAC systems
  • German at least B2 and English at least B1

Blackwave designs, manufactures and ships flight-qualified, commercial off-the-shelf composite overwrapped pressure vessels (COPVs) for launch vehicles and satellites.
